About Us

I’m Dr. Komal Yadav, M.D.

I’m a triple board-certified physician in family medicine, lifestyle medicine, and anti-aging and regenerative medicine.

What makes my approach unique is my background as a traditional primary care doctor and my additional training in functional and lifestyle medicine.

As a physician, I know when prescription medications are needed, but I also understand the power of lifestyle changes, targeted supplements, and nutrition. I take the time to truly listen and understand the deeper factors affecting your well-being to uncover the root causes of your health concerns rather than just masking symptoms.

At Samskara Integrative Health, we specialize in providing personalized care for women in midlife who are navigating the changes that come with this incredible stage in life.

In addition to my western medical training, I bring a unique perspective rooted in my Indian heritage.

I’ve grown up around Eastern practices like yoga, ayurveda and pranamaya and have witnessed their healing power first hand. I weave these practices into my care which allows me to offer a truly holistic approach that addresses not just the physical body, but the mind and spirit as well.

Whether you’re struggling with hormonal changes, stress, weight, chronic diseases or just want to optimize your health, I’m here to guide you on your journey, empower you with knowledge and create a plan thats unique to you.

My Story

When I began my journey as a young physician, I was drawn to Family Medicine because I wanted to practice proactive, preventative care—catching disease early and helping people stay healthy.

But once I entered the traditional medical system, I quickly realized how reactive it was. I found myself putting bandages on symptoms rather than uncovering their root causes. I treated patients struggling with uncontrolled blood pressure, diabetes, and other chronic illnesses with pill after pill, yet felt powerless to guide them toward the lifestyle changes that could truly transform their health.

Fifteen-minute appointments left me saying the same thing over and over: “Eat healthy and exercise.” But I knew it wasn’t enough. When patients came in with anxiety, brain fog, fatigue, and insomnia, my 11 years of medical training offered one answer: “You must be stressed—here’s a pill.” That never sat right with me. I grew frustrated—with myself, with the system, and with the limits placed on the care I wanted to provide.

I realized that if I wanted to make a real difference, I had to seek knowledge my training hadn’t provided and approach medicine differently. I immersed myself in studying hormonal health, gut health, and lifestyle medicine, earning additional board certifications in Lifestyle Medicine and Anti-Aging & Regenerative Medicine. Along the way, I reconnected with the healing traditions of my ancestors—Ayurveda, Yoga, and Pranayama. These were practices I had grown up with but once dismissed in my pursuit of Western medicine, only to rediscover them as invaluable tools for health and vitality.

This journey brought me full circle and inspired me to integrate the best of Eastern wisdom and Western science. From this vision, Samskara Integrative Health was born—a space where science meets soul.

I’m not here to push pills, sell protocols, or order unnecessary, expensive testing. I’m here to walk alongside you, helping you create sustainable lifestyle changes, address root causes, and treat you holistically—mind, body, and spirit.
